Reunion Story - Jake from San Diego

On June 23rd, a Good Samaritan found this black and white dog running loose in the City of Lemon Grove in Southern California. The wondering pup was brought to the San Diego Department of Animal Services care facility on Gaines Street; one of three county-shelters located in San Diego.

The owner, photographed here, checked the Chula Vista shelter (which handles the City of Lemon Grove); no luck. He then made his way to the Bonita campus, but was unable to locate his dog. The owner didn’t think to look at our Gaines Street facility across town.

Returning home, after being unable to locate his dog, his mom told him to try FINDING ROVER. The owner said he uploaded a photo of Jake, and the dog was immediately identified as being at the Gaines Street campus of San Diego Department of Animal Services

Roxy, Monchichi, and now Jake will all tell you that Finding Rover works!

All three San Diego Department of Animal Services facilities, all four San Diego Humane Society locations, and Rancho Coastal Humane Society all use Finding Rover to idetify dogs in their care. Are your dogs registered with Finding Rover?

Please share Finding Rover with 10 friends, and we can help more dogs find home! Just like Jake, from San Diego.
