Drool-Worthy Stew for Pup

Put the candles away—your dog doesn't want cake for his birthday. When your pup's special day comes around, try this chicken stew recipe instead. He'll be licking his chops for a nutrient-rich, balanced and complete meal.

1 pound skinless chicken breast, cubed
1 cup brown rice
3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 carrots, peeled and cubed
2 cups frozen green beans
1/2 pound of liver, diced
8 cups water

In a large pot, bring the water to boil. Once boiling, add in your brown rice, chicken and liver. Reduce to a low simmer, then after five minutes, add in the sweet potatoes, carrots and green beans. Cover and simmer on low heat for two hours. Transfer stew to a container and let cool before serving to your dog. If you want this meal to last a couple of days, double the measurements of the ingredients.
