We absolutely love this recipe because it is human-grade (yup, you can snack along with your pup!), incredibly healthy, and super easy to make in large batches. The sweet version of this snack includes carrots, apples and pumpkin, making the treat super rich in vitamins A and C, and gives your pup tons of fiber. The savory version of this snack combines green beans with liver and oatmeal, giving your dog lots of vitamins B, C and K, as well as lots of iron and fiber. Bring these snacks with you on a long hike as a quick snack—your pup will thank you for it!

Pumpkin (non-sweetened canned variety)

Green beans
Liver (chicken or cow, boiled thoroughly)
Oatmeal (cooked)

Preheat your oven at 200°F. Throw your ingredients (sweet and savory separately) into a blender and thoroughly blend the ingredients together. Spread out the mixture onto a pan until makes a sheet about an inch in thickness, then use cookie cutters to cut pieces out of the sheet. Lay the treats out onto a cookie sheet or pan, and bake them in the oven for around 4-5 hours, or until the treats easily snap in half.
