Has your pup got a case of the tummy aches? We've got you covered with our favorite tried and true recipes for sick pups.

Chicken & Rice
1 chicken breast
1 cup rice
1 can organic ground pumpkin
2 cups chicken broth

This bland recipe will get some much needed nutrients and protein into your dog's system, as well as whet their appetite. Dice up the chicken breast and boil it. Combine the rice and chicken broth in a separate pot and bring to a boil, then simmer until the rice is cooked. Mix the rice, pumpkin, and chicken together, then set aside to cool before serving. Makes 2 servings.

Cheesy Egg Scramble
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 cup rice
2 cups water
2 eggs

Eggs are especially good for dogs who have been having stomach issues such as vomiting or diarrhea. Combine the rice and water, bringing it all to a boil, then simmering it until the rice is cooked. Whisk the eggs, then cook separately and combine cottage cheese, rice, and scrambled eggs together. Set aside to cool before giving to your dog. Makes 2 servings.

Soupy Porridge
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup rice

If your dog is unable to keep down solid food, this porridge-like soup is a great way to give your dog the nutrition she needs. Bring both the broth and rice to a boil, then simmer for about 2 hours. When the rice is porridge-like in consistency, set it aside to cool, then serve to your dog. Makes 4 servings.
